Lohi Pro
Lohi Pro is a material-driven typeface inspired by salmon, combining modern geometry with organic texture, and offered in both fresh and a pan fried variation.
Lohi Pro takes salmon, something organic, tactile, and unexpected and uses it as the conceptual and visual foundation for a typeface.
The letterforms balance clean, modern geometry with natural softness and texture, translating the physical qualities of salmon into typographic structure.
Making of the assets
The characters were created using Adobe Firefly to combine visual references and shapes, generating initial assets that were later refined and developed into the final typeface. The project explores the use of generative AI as a driving tool within the design process, while maintaining creative control and intentional authorship throughout.
